KRISTINA LENGERICH, LCSW

Hi there, it’s nice to meet you!

When I was growing up, my favorite books were mysteries, the kind that twisted and turned and kept me guessing until the end. Playing the detective role, I soon became fascinated with analyzing the “why” behind the characters. If I could find the clues in the story, I could begin to understand why people made the choices they did. I taught myself to read between the lines, to understand the characters from the author’s point of view. As I began to understand the “why” of those around me, I sensed a calling to help those who were broken hearted. I decided I wanted to spend my most important moments helping to heal those broken hearts. I would become a social worker...a heart mender. And not surprisingly, as many of the good stories go, I have discovered just as much about myself on my own path as I have the children and families I have helped along the way.

My heart is that each child, adult or family I partner with gains practical, applicable strategies for the success we design together. It is important to me that my clients feel “heard” and accepted along their therapeutic path. I look forward to joining you on yours.
